Getting Tools.
The items in your tool folder are necessary for many of Graal Classic's activities. The tools here are simple to get or buy. How to get the diving flippers and goggles is covered in the "Rail Caves" section. Also, some of these tools are expensive for new players, so you will need several thousand gralats... For quicker ways to get gralats, go over to the "Making Gralats" section.
Net.
Items Obtained: Bug Net
Getting the bug net is quick, easy, and free. Go up the path to MoD Town and turn west at the first path. Walk past the fountain and you will see a red tree. Enter in Adam's Treehouse. Talk to Adam and answer "yes" to both of his questions. He will give you the bug net for free. Learn how to bug hunt in the "Making Gralats" section.

Shovel.
Items Required: 5 gralats
Items Obtained: Shovel
Items Obtained: Shovel
Right after leaving Adam's Treehouse, go south and get in the water from the stairs. Swim under the waterfall. Talk to the fish and he tells you that he will give you his shovel if you can get to the end of his tunnel in 30 seconds. The cost is only 5 gralats per try. This isn't really a maze; there are just rocks in the way, so you have to maneuver around them. Say "start" to begin, and you have 3 seconds to get ready. Getting through the tunnel is easy. Just use diagonal directions to go faster and be careful not to get stuck too long.
The shovel can be used to dig up bombs, arrows, and worms. The shovel is also used to treasure hunting after you complete the "Destiny" section. |
Draisine.
Items Required: 4,000 gralats
Items Obtained: Simple Draisine
Items Obtained: Simple Draisine
Lantern.
Items Required: 2,000 gralats
Items Obtained: Lantern
Items Obtained: Lantern
Go to Onnet Town and walk east past Bernart and the slide. Above you, there is a cliff with octoroks on it. Go around that cliff and you see a cave. Cross to the other end of the cave and go up the stairs. Go into the second cave and the Lantern Stall is up in the back. Buy the lantern if you can afford it. If you keep going around the cliffs, you will find a dark cave. The lantern is used to find your way to Snowtown. The railroad will also get you to Snowtown. But we have no reason to go there right now.

Horses.
Items Required: 2,500 gralats
Items Obtained: Horse
Items Obtained: Horse
Find the horse stables yourself on the map. For your first horse, I suggest buying a cheap one. There are a few other places to buy other "mounts" too. You can also get mounts several ways: holidays, other temporary sales (Nexus and Revolution), VIP subscription. Anyway, for now just get a cheap one. Horses make transportation much faster. You can eat up to 5 bushes to increase its speed. By feeding a bomb, horses can also breath fire. This is useful for "farming" (getting gralats buy cutting grass).

Custom Bombs.
"Custom" bombs are just bombs that have a different image. But it is advantageous to have at least one custom bomb, because the blast covers more area than normal bombs. Like horses, custom bombs are usually sold on holidays, or Nexus. There are also a couple bombs you can get through quests (Bandit Caves and Destiny). There are also custom bow and arrows, but they have no advantages.
