Between Loot Diving and Bug Hunting, Loot Diving is probably a more efficient way of earning gralats. This page will cover the whole Looting process.
The Diving Flippers allow you to dive underwater to retrieve sunken items. The Goggles are an upgrade to the Flippers, allowing you to dive longer. However, it is not necessary to equip the Goggles. So just equip your Flippers and get in the water.

When you see a loot spawn, swim over there and use the Flippers to dive on top of it.
Tips:
- You do not have to have the Goggles equipped, but they cause more loot spots to spawn.
- Zoom out by pinching the screen. This way you 2x as much in each direction. That is 4x as much water surface area you can see.
- Good loot places include: Nafet's River, which connects MoD/Castle area all the way to York's sea; the southern ocean under Destiny; the ocean around Big City; the ocean around Oasis Island.
- The key is swim around instead of staying in one spot. If you aren't finding anything for awhile, move over a screen's width. The system is scripted to give more loot spawns to people who are moving around. If you sit AFK in one spot, your client's loot spawn rate will drop significantly.
Secondary Looting Methods.
Special Loot Items.
Selling Loot.
To sell loot for gralats, you have two options: sell everything for a lump sum, or sell specific items to specific NPCs. Selling your loot all at once for a lump sum will get you the normal price (information about Elster's Cave is at the bottom of the page). However, this is a lot less gralats than you could get. Selling each item to certain NPCs around the map takes quite a bit of traveling, but you get 1.5x the normal price. So this method is definitely worth it.
If you see an NPC with a gralat emote (left), that means you have a loot item he will buy. Below is a list of NPCs around the map you can sell loot specific loot items to. However, not all loot items coordinate to an NPC, so some items must be sold to Elster. Loot items are priced based on rarity. The rarest items are worth 150 / 100 gralats (150 if you sell to specific NPC, 100 if you sell to Elster). Uncommon items are worth 75 / 50 gralats. Fairly common items are 20 / 15 gralats. Common items are 18 / 12 gralats. Very common items are only worth under 10 gralats. |
Joshua the Baby
It is on the southeast beach of Oasis Island. This island is only accessible to VIP subscribers (for more information, read the "VIP" page). Don't bother buying the VIP subscription if you only want to sell seashells to the baby. If you don't think it is worth buying the VIP subscription (benefits are listed on the "VIP" page), then just sell your seashells to Elster. |
Elster the Hoarder.
Elster's Cave is just to the left of Sardon's Tower. Elster is a hoarder, so his cave is a mess. If you talk to him, Elster will give you a lump sum of gralats for all your loot items. Or if you don't want to give him everything, you can hold up items one at a time in front of him. He will buy any item from you. However, remember, you won't get as many gralats than selling to the other NPCs.
Below is a list of items that you have to sell to Elster, because no other NPCs buys them.
